Student Bursaries and Scholarships
St. John Ambulance Canada is committed to making post-secondary education more accessible for its volunteers.
We are proud to offer bursary and scholarship awards to eligible volunteers who have vision, goals and a commitment to serving their community. If you can demonstrate academic achievement and financial need, if you have leadership qualities and a commitment to high standards in your chosen field of study, if you are dedicated to upholding the ideals of St. John and have a desire to continue to serve your community through St. John Ambulance, then you may be eligible to receive a bursary or scholarship award.
The Prior’s Award exists to encourage St. John to be a learning organization by providing St. John volunteers and staff with opportunities to participate in a wide variety of learning experiences. These experiences can take many forms, such as internships and international exchanges, short-term professional development courses, and academic programs at the postsecondary level. Each of these learning experiences should strive to contribute to strengthening St. John’s organizational capacity.
